Suddenly noise in photos

  • Hi everyone.

    Just new here at this forum. Started to look around as my camera is
    suddenly giving me a headache. It's a Pentax *istds. Really nice, does
    excellent work! Until now. Suddenly there is so much noise in every picture I take. It's really a deteriorated picture now.

    I did do a reset of the camera to the factory settings. Hoping that this would help. Maybe a setting got done by accident that was the cause of this. But not so. It happens in pictures inside and outside the house.

    Anybody an idea?


  • Have you checked your ISO and also check the quality of the picture settings, my old camera got set to S at some point or another and all my pictures were so grainy and low quality.


  • weirdly enough, after another day of figuring it out... a reset of the whole machine, back to factory settings did help. This is the second reset... kind off odd really. Hopefully it won't happen again.
