  • Hi Guys, I have a XP Pro as my o/s. Last month i downloaded few of Adobe tryouts like Photoshop, Premier pro & illustrator and Macromedia trialwares like Studio 8, Flash & dreamweaver 8. I downloaded these products to work on my web skills before i plan to buy these products. But after a week or so, i started getting registry errors and system slowing down etc. Then the system crashed, luckily with the XP restore point i was able to recover things. But, after that i tried to install these products. After installing when i tried to work with the trial it states that my trial has expired and i need to buy the product!! Can you guys please tell me how can i set right the registry without reinstalling the o/s again as i have alot of data and be in a position to install these trailwares again and use them. I need to know how to set right the registry details for making the above happen, so please ley me know. Regards, Arun.

  • Hi Livioflores, Thanks for your explanation. But registry cleaners really don't help. I have tried Regseeker, Regcleaner & Ccleaner. It still doesn't allow, please let me know if you have any other more stronger option. Regards, Arun

  • At the time of installation, Macromedia software add some data to the boot record of the computer. This can only be removed if you reformat your hard-disk. I guess Adobe does the same thing.

  • Hi labnol, Thanks for ur comment, so really there is no other option?? Thatz bad..

  • Have you tried Unistalling the trial products & reinstaalling them again.

  • Hi!! Try the following: Uninstall all the trials. Clean the registry with RegSeeker: Download and install it, then run it and use the "Clean the Registry" option at the left frame. Check if there are references to the trials in the list of registry entries to be removed. http://www.hoverdesk.net/freeware.htm If RegSeeker fails to clean the registry try with RegCleaner (this tool works manually but can do a better job in this situation, so it is a good idea to start withthis option and use as a second chance RegSeeker): Install and run this program and them at the Software tab search for references to the trials (at both columns Author and Software), select all the references found and then use the remove selected items button. http://www.worldstart.com/weekly-download/programs/regcleaner.exe With RegCleaner you will be able to get rid of those old and obsolete registry entries created by the trials, for help on using this program see: http://learnat.oldnewbie.net/vwlt/ss/RegCleaner_viewlet.html Note: If the viewlet is too wide, you can use these Keyboard shortcuts: PAUSE to stop it running on its own, the RIGHT ARROW to move forward frame by frame, and ALT F4 to close the viewlet window. After cleaning the registry reboot your computer. Hope this helps you. Let me know how this advices works. Looking forward to your response.

  • Macromedia have some files in WINDOWS dir but you aren`t allowed to delete this file and is like you use a crack which is more easy. then buy it.. if you like. If you want to delete this files, is more easy to use a crack. I don`t know now exactly these files. In previous version was some files from vbox. Sorry, but every thing what you want to do now to restore the trial it`s illegal, like a crack.

  • Hi Sibarnetik, Yes i have tried to uninstall & re-install after that also it still doesn't allow to work on it. Hi Andymx, Thanks for your comments. I am just trying to work at home, i don't want to use an cracks, but would like to use the trail for a month and then work on buying the software. Please let me know if you have any other better option. Thanks, Arun
