  • I'm having a bit of a problem with my vBulletin. I'm using 1.1.3 version. Unfortunately, the whole board is unaccessable. This is what it always says:

    --------------
Warning: Too many connections in /usr/home/sites/ppgboard/forum/admin/db_mysql.php on line 29

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database. Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

    We apologise for any inconvenience.
    -------------

Please note that I DO NOT own this server. It is on a virtual webhosting service. I've emailed the tech staff to correct the mySQL problem, as it is affecting the entire server. But they haven't responded, and I emailed them 2 weeks ago.

  • Look like there are to many connection to the MySQL Server. There is nothing that you can do except email the techsupport again. Better you are looking for a new provider.

  • I CAN login to Telnet, FYI. In case that helps.

Too many connections? Well that's what it says 24/7. The vBulletin is entirely unaccessible. It's almost like mySQL crashed or something.

I really don't want to look for a new provider. We just did that twice -_-;; . This is the last time we choose a webhost run by a bunch of kids.

And if they went on vacation.....grrrr!!
