Dropped Network connections

  • My last xbox that I had loaded xbmc played my networked music files fine. With my latest it will play and when you switch to a new album, xbmc can't find the networked computer and has to be reset.

    The first xbox was loaded via unleashx and xbmc set as the primary dash. This box was loaded from evox and xbmc set as the primary dash. Both loaded via softmod. Could this difference cause a problem with networking?


  • also novar's problem was with music mine happened when fininshing one video going to another.

    And again, it only happened once & I couldn't reproduce it, so IDK if its really even a problem.


  • This has happened to me once using t3ch rev 14853 (2008-08-12). I couldn't reproduce it so I thought it was a hiccup in my network. The xbox couldn't even see ANY smb when it happened, as though it wasn't even connected to the router.

    My stream was like this: xbox<-ethernet->router<-wifi->laptop(windows xp sp3) It's never happened with my NAS. When it happened the Laptop-NAS connection was still fine.
