my brother recently had a heart attack and had to have a triple by-pass which came as a shock cause he is only 39 ,so right now he cant resume his job at the oilfields wich was where he worked prior to the heart attack can he or should he try to apply for temporary assistance till the doc gives an ok
He has to be out of work for 6 months before he can receive disability but There may be other assistance programs. He should talk with his doctor first, criteria information attached.

He should apply, but will initionally get denied. Fight for appeal, get an attorney. Im 37, when I was 34 I had a mitral valve replacement, and fought 3 years to get disibilty. Its a long long road, but you can succeed. Good luck!
