Am I Outta Luck?

  • The Story ...

    I installed the lite version, just like the doc's say to, and it worked ...

    Now that I bought the real version, I can't get past step 3, I keep getting dbase errors and my host claims to have deleted and reset up the dbase ... it does seem that the old dbase is the problem, I've dumped and re-ftp'd the software, bith versions but my hist tech support are not replying back no more, could the php files be hanging infomation, should that be reinstalled? ... and I know nothing about telnet or phpspecialprograms or ??? am I totally screwed? would "VBTech" be able to fix this remotly? Seems im into a mess right now ....

  • im using westhost http://www.westhost.com and they do all the setting up in this area, I asked (maybe dumb) where the dbase is to see if theres anything I can mess up, but no reply ... I assume that I have rights to this, I did ask them to double check the permissions ....


  • ok, what host are you using? Did you create a database and a user with rights for that db?
